It was great to see you!
On Friday, November 28th, Whistler Community Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual Glow Gala at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. With over 200 guests in attendance, and a community-supported online silent auction, we raised just over $168,000.
Here is the breakdown of where the funds are heading:
- $114,240 to the endowed Whistler Community Fund
- $49,210 to the endowed Pemberton Community Fund
- $5,000 to the endowed Whistler Youth Fund
From these funds, we are expecting to grant back more than $8,000 per year (forever) under the Caring Community Grant Stream to non-profits serving Whistler and Pemberton.
